About Us

Dent Tricks has been providing Middle Georgia with affordable options for dent repair for 15 years. We have three PDR technicians to serve you and a full-time staff dedicated to answer all of your questions!

We are a mobile service and we will come to you, whether you are in Macon, Warner Robins, Milledgeville, Dublin or Cochran. Affordable dent repair is just a phone call away!

Dent Tricks has been recognized internationally as being one of the leaders in the industry. We have placed 1st in the International Dent Olympics in 2005 and 2007, and then placed in the top 10 in 2009.  In 2010, we made it into the top 10 again when Ryan placed 2nd in the competition. For the last three years we have been honored to be chosen by the Macon Telegraph as being the “Best of the Best” for Automobile Repair in Middle Georgia.  And finally, in 2011 we were awarded the “Small Business Achievement Award” by the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce.

Our History

1996

  • Dent Tricks was established as a part-time business by Troy Tarpley, serving primarily Dublin, Georgia (Troy’s hometown).

1998

  • Troy turns Dent Tricks into a full-time operation, based in Macon, serving all of Middle Georgia.

2000

  • Dent Tricks hires it’s first PDR technician employee and begins developing a second dealer route.

2001

  • Ryan Tarpley joins Dent Tricks as it’s second PDR technician.

2005

  • Dent Tricks wins the International Dent Olympics in Orlando, FL.

2006

  • Dent Tricks hires a bookkeeper part-time for administrative work.

2007

  • The International Dent Olympics again awards Dent Tricks first place. Dent Tricks joins the National Alliance of PDR Technicians (NAPDRT).

2008

  • Monte Joiner becomes Dent Tricks third PDR technician.
  • Troy is elected to the National Alliance of PDR Technicians Board of Directors.
  • Troy is a speaker at the Mobile Tech Expo in Clearwater, FL  speaking on “Retail Work for PDR Businesses”.

2009

  • Amy Tarpley becomes the Chief Financial Officer for Dent Tricks.
  • Stacy Webb is hired full-time to take over all administrative responsibilities.
  • The Macon Telegraph readers vote Dent Tricks, “Best of the Best” for Auto Repair.
  • Ryan Tarpley places 4th out of 51 at the International Dent Olympics in Clearwater, FL.
  • Troy Tarpley was a speaker at the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) in Las Vegas, NV. Troy was speaking to the body shop industry on integrating PDR into shops.

2010

  • Ryan Tarpley places 2nd out of 56 competitors at the International Dent Olympics in Clearwater, FL.
  • The Macon Telegraph readers vote Dent Tricks, “Best of the Best” for Auto Repair for a the second consecutive year.

2011

  • The Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce honored Dent Tricks with the “Small Business Achievement Award” for Specialized Services.
  • The Macon Telegraph readers vote Dent Tricks, “Best of the Best” for Auto Repair for the third consecutive year.
  • Garin Flanders joins Dent Tricks as the primary estimator.
  • Tom Goff becomes Dent Tricks fourth PDR technician.
